The first children's summer aerospace camp was opened July 17th, 2007 in Sakha (Yakutia). It is happening under the aegis of Smaller Arctic Academy Of Young Talents, a sakha republic youth organization, which was founded by the initiative of academician Zh.I.Alferov, a Nobel Prize Laureate and M.E.Nikolayev, the first President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya). The camp is taking place in Oktemtsy, Khangalassky Ulus on the premises of physics and mathematics forum "Lenskiy Kray", established in 1999 for retention and development of the intellectual potential of the republic.
